Last Revised:  February 20th, 2019

At DigitalWorldview.com, we recognize that privacy is important.  We take great care in safeguarding the privacy of any personal information you provide to us by following responsible information handling practices.

We do not require you to create an account or share any personally identifiable information in order to use our site.  When you choose to apply for a credit card offer presented at DigitalWorldview.com, you are taken directly to the credit card issuer's website and you provide your information directly to the issuer, and NOT to us. By using our website you consent to the collection, use and processing of the information that you provide to us in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.  If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use this site.

What information does DigitalWorldview.com COLLECT?
We do not require you to create an account or share any personally identifiable information in order to use our site. However, we do collect some non-personally identifiable information automatically. It is your option if you wish to share some contact information with us.

Information Collected Automatically
DigitalWorldview.com does NOT automatically collect Personally Identifiable Information (or PII) from your computer when you browse our site. We automatically collect some Non-Personally Identifiable Information (or NON-PII) about your visit, including the operating system and browser you are using, as well as the date, time, search engine you came from, and pages you visit. Collecting this information helps us design the site to suit your needs.

When you request a page from our site, our servers log your current IP address.  An Internet Protocol ("IP") address is a unique string of numbers that is automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider.  We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems and to gather demographic information and measure traffic to the site. We do NOT link IP addresses to any personally identifiable information about you.

DigitalWorldview.com also allows third-party partners to place session cookies on your computer to collect non-personally identifiable information such as aggregate use statistics for internal evaluation of the site.  Please see our Cookies Policy for more detailed information about first and third-party cookies employed on Digitalworldview.com.

Information You Provide to Us (Optionally)
We obtain personally identifiable information about you if you elect to send an inquiry to us through the Contact Us section of our website.  Please note that this information is only used to communicate with you regarding your inquiry or request for a newsletter (See Choice/Opt-Out for preference options).  The types of personally identifiable information we ask you to provide may include the following:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address

Choice/Opt-out
If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you may opt-out of receiving it by following the "opt out" link included in each newsletter. You may not opt-out of receiving e-mail acknowledgements and responses to customer support or media inquiries - these are considered "one-time" responses, and you are probably expecting a reply!

Does DigitalWorldview.com SHARE my Personally Identifiable Information (PII) with others?
DigitalWorldview.com does NOT share information that we have about you with anyone, except in response to subpoenas or as otherwise required by law.  We do not share, sell, rent, or trade personally identifiable information with third parties.

Does DigitalWorldview.com use COOKIES to collect information about me?
A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your web browser when you visit our site.  Cookies enable our systems to recognize your computer so that we can provide you with personalized service and features, and to track traffic patterns.  Although our cookies may contain a unique user ID, they do not collect or store any of your Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

We employ a third party (Google Analytics) to collect anonymous, Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII) to evaluate the effectiveness of our websites. This vendor uses cookies and transparent images called "web beacons" to collect this information.  Like cookies, web beacons do not allow us or the vendor to identify you personally. This data helps us understand how visitors use our website, such as the most visited pages and features.  Google Analytics does not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from you, and they do not share the Non-PII collected with anyone else for any other purpose.  You may view their privacy policy here. We have no access or control over these types of third party cookies.

Also, in the course of advertising, a third party advertiser may place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser.  DigitalWorldview.com assumes no responsibility for any cookies placed on your browser by such third-party advertisers. Please see our Cookies Policy for more detailed information about first and third-party cookies employed on Digitalworldview.com.

How does DigitalWorldview.com SECURE the information collected?
DigitalWorldview.com has security measures in place and takes reasonable precautions to protect against the loss, misuse, and unauthorized access of your personal information under our control. To help us accomplish this, we adopt the following procedures:

  • Employ internal access controls to ensure that the only people who see your information are those with a need to do so to perform their official duties.
  • Train relevant personnel on our privacy and security measures.
  • Regularly back up the information we collect online to insure against loss.
  • Use technical controls to secure the information we collect online as appropriate, including but not limited to: encryption, firewalls and password protections.
  • Periodically test our security procedures to ensure personnel and technical compliance.

We use reasonable measures to ensure that all credit card applications listed with DigitalWorldview.com use a Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) connection.  SSL encrypts your information as it travels over the Internet when you apply for a credit card at the issuer's website (provided that you are using a SSL enabled browser).  You will know you are in secure mode when the padlock or key icon in the lower/upper right-hand or left-hand corner of the computer screen appears in the locked position.  You should see this icon on ALL the page on our website. In addition, when accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https".  We are not responsible for the security of data transmitted from your computer to any issuer or other third-party website.

Does DigitalWorldview.com collect information from CHILDREN?
At DigitalWorldview.com, we are committed to protecting the privacy of children.  We will not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information online from children under the age of 18. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not submit any personal information through our website without the express consent and participation of a parent or guardian.

Does this policy cover OTHER sites linked from DigitalWorldview.com?
This policy covers our online practices and does not apply to any third party sites, including card issuers or other sites that may be linked from our website.  We encourage you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of those other sites to learn how they collect and use information about you.

Will this Privacy Policy CHANGE?
Because DigitalWorldview.com will continue to implement new technologies and improve the services and features we provide, this policy is subject to change.  Changes or additions to this Privacy Policy will be in this section of the website.  You can always come to this section to learn what information we gather, how we might use that information and whether we will disclose it to anyone.  If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on our home page.

You may ask us to make changes to the information provided by you and/or held about you to ensure that it is accurate and kept up to date.  You may also request that we delete your personal information from our records.

You acknowledge that any information you provide to us will be held on our computers in the United States and may be accessed for the purposes outlined in this policy or for other purposes approved by you.
